Need something to do Saturday?

Friends of the Morton Parks is kicking off the 2nd year of the Morton Farmers Market this Saturday May 12th. The Market will be open from 10 am to 3 pm and will be located on the lawn in front of the Lyle Community Building on the corner of 7th and Main. There is still plenty of spaces available for folk wanting to be vendors and if that's you just contact us and we will get you what you need to know.

What will I find?

Featured in this post is Olde Achers Farm who has told us they will be there Saturday and I hear they are bringing fresh Yakima asparagus, potted salad bowls (gardens for those with little to no space) and garden starts.

The flower baskets folks bought during our Morton Flower Basket fundraiser will be available for pickup. We will also be selling the fertilizer that others have used to make those baskets sensationally huge though results will vary based on other environmental factors. There may be a few baskets left so if interested be sure to stop by and ask.
